I know I'm not tired of you, maybe you got tired of me...

I am just in love with Cameron singing Aqualung's "Lost"... When I listen to this, I can't seem to do anything else. Just beautiful.

Daylight comes in the nick of time
Shines some light into the darkest corners of her mind
All the world is, all the world is weighing down on you

Piece by piece, it all falls away
All this beauty, all this magic 'til there's nothing there
If only love was enough, I could reach you, I would reach you

I know I'm not tired of you, but maybe you got tired of me
It seems like every little thing I do makes you pull yourself away
So I'm waiting for the sun, but you only see the grey
Oh no - won't you please come on home
[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/a/aqualung/lost.html ]
Oh, I've been missing you, you got lost along the way
Oh maybe you aren't lost; it's still in you some way
If only love was enough, I could reach you, I would reach you

I felt really silly this afternoon.

It was 12.50pm when I bought the things I needed including my lunch, a bowl of hot Udon noodles. Headed to the busstop and checked the arrival time of my bus with an iPhone app and it stated, 1.13pm. Feeling extremely thirsty, I thought, hey, there's time to cross opposite to get a drink. And so... I made that choice. Got my drink, headed back to the busstop and 4 minutes later, my bus arrived. Boarded the bus with a smile because I was the first passenger in the queue to board. I know, simple pleasure. Ha. Then, to my greatest horror, my bus card had insufficient money! Flashback, flashback. I did tell myself to top it up beforehand! But clearly, I had forgotten and thus, felt mildly embarrassed. The reader said "Pay Cash". Oh great. I didn't have coins. (!!!)
Ok...
So then as I was attempting to alight the bus, there were thousands of people trying to push their way up to board the bus. So now you see, being first in the queue isn't always good. Feeling awkward already, I had to wait till the last person boarded the bus before I could alight.

I was so embarrassed.

You see, if I did remember, I would have used the time earlier to top up my card instead of getting a drink that didn't even taste nice. Not only that, my Udon turned soggy by the time I reached home which was 1.45pm.

Truly truly... the choices you make everyday are very important. One event can lead to another. Just like the choice I made to buy a drink instead of topping up my bus card led to events, or rather consequences, of wasting precious time, having soggy noodles for lunch and sheer embarrassment.
