today i woke up with a sprained back. and i don't know why. guess it's because of my sleeping position last night. & now i suspect i walk with a lopsided backbone.. sigh.

anyway, planned to have a study session with michelle today at BMC but she didnt feel like going out today so we cancelled it. you rest well girl! hope you're feeling better ya?

jemaine and i decided to have lunch together at tiong so i packed my notes and stationery, all prepared to have a good lunch and hopefully a good revision.
so we ate at kopitiam, jap food! haha i ate my saba fish & jemaine wasn't a fishy kinda person so i guessed she didnt like the taste of my fish. but i had delight in my fish anyway. & we had gelato too! *slurp*

while waiting for her PW mates to arrive as they needed to go touch community centre to interview someone as part of their project, i asked jem if anyone in her grp actually knows the way there. and expectedly, the answer was no.
not wanting them to get lost in my territory (haha, inside joke), i offered to bring them there.

so remembering that i brought some work with me, i went to macs to have self-study. not wanting to be chased out by the management, i bought spicy snack wrap to fill my tummy while i mug. quite a luxury huh!

& thereafter, jemaine came to macs & she suggested to walk back to tiong bahru plaza. so it was a good walk and a good talk afterall. though the journey seemed far, time zoomed past as we chatted about how different jc life and secondary life are.
but whatever it is, both are two very different phases of life so i guess we just have to cherish whatever we're going through right now. Because regrets are painful.

I'm so glad 09S15 could see each other today! after nearly 3 weeks of seperation.. Yet, it was a get-together for physics lesson -_- but still, it's a great time of bonding once again. To see the 7 dwarfs made me smile and it tickled a little to see that some of us did change. nothing negative of course.

life is really about relationships.

let's say, i've got to learn how to care and love people more. probably i haven't done enough.

First of all, i think i'm not flexible enough. Or perhaps, not adaptable. I'm only comfortable with certain people. & isn't it true that you can just speak your heart out to someone and towards someone else, you just don't feel like talking much? it's totally not being rude. It's just the feely feely kinda thing. It's like how you can share secrets with someone close, say things directly without being fearful that the person will get over-sensitive and really, just letting down your hair and trust that the person loves you for who you are.

Well, i do want a breakthrough. I want to be comfortable with everyone!
I want my life back.

yay! i'm kinda excited for AYG to come! JJ is co-hosting for this big event! ushering and cheering are the main duties. In a nutshell, there'll be a games village where ppl play games (??) and a cultural education programme whereby international athletes get to visit booths displaying different cultural insights and interactive activites. So basically, we become the tourguides as well.

and mr koh put bikila house comm in charge of it. is it a good thing or bad? hmm well, i choose to think positive. Yeah so the enjoyable part of the entire planning is the passbook design. I must say XX and Eunice did a fabulous job! It's utterly PROFESSIONAL i tell you! oh i helped in the drawing of some comic strips! haha. They are meant to give instructions VISUALLY since not all understands english so visual stuff are always effective. Well, they say 'A picture speaks a thousand words.'

So here goes my comic strip, (hopefully, you guys get it.)

I love Susan Boyle! She's really an amazing person. When it seems as though the world was against her, when people ostracised her & thought she could never succeed, she shook us out of that very shallow and cynical judgment. She is indeed an inspiration to all of us out there! If a 48-year-old woman can sing with such emotion, passion and confidence, so can you! It just takes a little courage and faith in yourself. Let's dream dreams friends!

i was just meidtating on this verse because i was really feeling rather discouraged. Fixing my eyes on the Word really gives me strength to stand up when i'm at my lowest.

Yesterday was our choir farewell party for the seniors! Glad all of them had as much fun as i had! The joy and laughter will always be remembered! Happy farewell my dear seniors! =)

went to study at the library but ended up dozing off.. how embarassing. haha but i swear it's because of the dimmed lightings and coziness of the lib that affected my mood to study. but i did 4 math questions! =)

went for a car ride in daddy's car at 10pm and reached home at midnight. now a new day awakes. hey this reminds me that i've got to go to bed!

school holidays just started. and in a blink of an eye, one week of holidays are over! how great.
on a very happy note, LOUD camp is just next week!! 8th to 10th june! oh gosh, it just can't get any LOUD-er! =) and many many outings next week too! but it just means one thing, i gotta buck up with my studies this week to compensate all the fun and enjoyment next week. persevere ya.

i feel extremely encouraged and touched today because THREE very kind Singaporeans gave up their seats for my grandma in the mrt THREE times! deeply appreciated.

had choir practice yesterday and guess what? we learnt a new song!! yay! it's time we learnt a new one. And the song 'If' is simply beautiful! can't wait to perform it =) haha oh i performed magic tricks for my choir mates! hahaha i think Project Smile is seriously a success! Because of these very entertaining magic tricks i've learnt, i've seen the brightest of smiles and the loudest of laughters for the longest time as far as i can remember. a good way to cheer up a kid too!
